Kate is a lifetime creative and dreamer of big ideas for KFFD's clientele. With an eye for design and an affinity for all things green/growing, Kate drives this company with a joy and unceasing energy, leaving no detail behind.
Kate is best known for her signature style: garden-inspired textural designs. She loves to incorporate the interesting, the unusual, and the exquisite. Combining lush, exceptional blooms and locally sourced unique and sensory pieces woven into each arrangement to create a visually organic and breathtaking aesthetic.
Prior to the big events, Kate enjoys working one-on-one with each of her clients so that when the day comes, she and her team can ensure the florals are a reflection of the client and of the occasion- no two are alike!
Kate treasures her city of Norfolk, but also loves to travel throughout Virginia, the east coast, and to destination locations across the world.
Outside of the flower world, Kate loves a steaming cup of coffee in the morning, swanky jazz, kayaking, and anything her husband Steve cooks.
